1. Mary Steelman (born 1782, died August 19, 1869) married Joel Rutledge (born ca 1778, died ca 1867) on January 16, 1803. They resided in Surry County, North Carolina and Lincoln County, Tennessee.
   
2. Charles Steelman (born May 16, 1786, died September 5, 1855) married Nancy Hoppes (born April 6, 1788, died February 6, 1873) on July 28, 1807 (bond). They resided in Surry and Yadkin Counties in North Carolina.
   
3. Ruth Steelman (born ca 1788, died ca 1845) married John Pierce (died ca 1844) on April 5, 1812. They resided in Surry County, North Carolina and Cape Giradeau County, Missouri.
